Charley and Marie




I thought I'd bring you current on our little goat herd. This afternoon we added Charley and Marie to our cast of farm characters.

  1. Oh, I just love Nubians! They make my heart go pitter-pat!

    My beloved Nubian, Cappuccino, died this past winter in kidding, and now the closest thing I have is a sweet little La Mancha/Nubian cross. You'll have to post more pictures of yours, so I can get my fix! :-)

  2. How in the world did I NOT know you had goats? Congrats on the new additions! Do you make your own chevre? I would probably be 400 pounds if I had my own goats and could make chevre.

  3. Lylah it was great to see you all this morning!!! I was watching the video of Michael making chevre and our youngest - Hannah - came up behind me to see what I was watching, I explained who he was and reminded her of your "Simple Farm". She said "oh that's right mom - you want to be her". I said yes, yes I do.
