My Notebook on French Inspirations






We all know that the French have this way of inspiring - whether it be cooking, fashion, or living in the french life like Vicki Archer.


I've been inspired by French hospitality, French pastries, French sweets, window shopping in France, French linens and definitely French homes.


I'm sure I could find lots more inspiration walking through this garden just outside this quaint home located in Le Buisson De Cadouin, in Dordogne, in the Aquitaine region of France.

It's a two bedroom home with a charming garden with views of the city. The for sale listing says it's a well restored stone house built in (get this) 1785. It's only 225,000 euros. It's lovely, isn't it.

  2. so so lovely..at first when I was looking at it I thought: is this Lylah's house???
    My husband and I get to go to Paris for 2 days this summer to celebrate our first anniversary. While it isn't the French countryside, I'm so excited to go!!!
