I'm wrapping up my time in Portland, looking forward to returning to my husband, my home and garden, my family and friends there.
I had a little block of time on Sunday and decided to make one more trek through some vintage shops on Division Street. There was this one little shop that'd been closed during my last little trip, but lo and behold, the "OPEN" sign caught my eye.
My head was quick to spin around toward the window display (above). I started recalling this cute post my friend Melissa from The Inspired Room did on shutters. Her post on using shutters, got me thinking about how cool and funky and fun they could be to add to a particular spot in my family room.
After checking the little price tag, my next thought was: how can I fit them into my suitcase? Basically, this is all Melissa's fault.
