My New Home and Garden Notebook

One of my daily habits of living is to think about the legacy I will leave my children, my grandchildren and those women I have the opportunity to spend an influential moment with.

In years past, you'd find me busy doing and doing and running here and running there, but these days in my more seasoned age, all that "doing and running" has changed.

I have found a solace in process of creating sanctuary in my home and the garden I enjoy.

I have discovered the joy of becoming and being.

What have I become?

I've become a woman who paces herself with the peace and contentment that comes from a heart being settled in her home (marriage, children, grandchildren). I truly believe it's these simple things will leave a far lasting impression than one where a woman is so busy running here and there.

So, la maison et le jardin: Home and Garden is my notebook to share with you so this may be true of you too.

  4. I love your new place and have already saved it under my "favorites" to visit again. I enjoy reading your gardening notebook because I live in the Phx area too and it is so hard to find inspiration for the unique growing seasons we have here. Thanks and I look forward to more of your posts!
